About Us

Marys River Grange #658 is a community Grange organized in 1927 which serves the Philomath and outlying rural areas. Our members come from a variety of educations, professions and lifestyles. Marys River is our common community and we endorse the Grange Motto - "In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things charity." 

We work together to keep the history of our Grange alive and to ensure it's continuance, to  support and better our local community, to maintain our hall and grounds and to better ourselves.

The role of agriculture in the Grange has declined over time, but we feel that farming and gardening are important, and provides both beauty and nutrition. 

We not only meet for business (and have a pre-meeting potluck), we also meet to gather, to mingle, to celebrate holidays, and to eat delicious foods.
